It would be great if we actually received our cooktop and microwave to review. We will most likely never order from LG directly again It says our shipment has been delivered but it has not. The third-party delivery carrier says they have our order but cannot give us a delivery date So is it safe to say theyre holding our appliances hostage? Lg says the carrier can deliver it on a date we will not be home available. What an inconvenient nightmare this whole ordeal has been. We just want our stuff Mad isnt even the word. We should have paid the extra money to purchase these appliances from Home Depot or Lowes but we figured we were getting a better deal through LG directly. Buyers beware.

Cracks/chips even without an impact

Our previous cooktop was 28 years old and still looked relatively decent. We re-did the countertops and decided upon this 30 LG cooktop to replace the old unit. We have had the cooktop in place and using it now for 3 months and are very dissatisfied. We did have one small chip/crack caused by a dropped pan but the damage was far greater than expected. A second chip also happened that was not caused by a dropped pot or pan. A crack then spread across the entire cooking surface rendering the entire cooktop un-usable. We also have not overcooked/overflowed anything and there are burned marks where the pots/pans sit on the burners. I will absolutely not by another LG product.

The cooktop cooks correctly but on the whole Im disappointed. The right rear burner is strictly for warming rendering it useless to me. The cooktop arrived with a defect that could easily have been spotted and fixed at the factory instead it required three repair visits to my home to fix. The fan makes a faint high-pitched ringing sound. After just three months the paint is already wearing off. On the other hand I was reluctant to choose LG because of poor reviews of their customer service but I found customer service OK both at LG and the local shop that did their warranty repairs.

This lg cooktop has been a breeze to operate and heats up 10x faster than my old one I havent had a single issue yet while owning it and if you want a sleek looking cooktop that also has a child lock setting then I recommend this one.

Unit was still within its 2 year warranty agreement stated in owners manual and service agreement but LG would not replace or repair the unit. We recently renovated the kitchen and replaced our 1962 cooktop with this LG cooktop. It was an amazing leap into the future. In the space we had 4 burners we now have 4 burners and a warning burner. Love the feature where the hot light stays on until the burner cools. The controls were easy to master. Extremely happy with this new cooktop.

Bringing the kitchen to a more modern look has been achieved with this LG cooktop. The unit was easy to install but does require a dedicated 40 amp. 240/220-volt circuit with #10 wire. Being only a month old I have found this cooktop to work flawlessly. I love the even heat and the option of the dual burners. Cleaning the unit has been easy to achieve and looks great. The only drawback I have found is adjusting the temperature settings. Having sight issues the 1-9 main touch pad would have been nice if it were more illuminated instead of just the power on only. The individual power illumination for each burner is great. Other than that I am very satisfied with the cooktop.

Bought the cooktop less than 3 months ago and now it doesnt work. Lg sent someone out and they had no idea how to find the model number much less anything else. Customer service wont pay for any out of pocket expenses and two different associates had two different stories to tell us. was installed 2 weeks ago and the top left corner facing the cook top was bent up about 1/8th inch . Sealed corner with silicone and put weighted pieces on corner until silicone set up. Can still see its not flush with new granite counter top.. Do like the touch controls and overall looks of the appliance ..

Its been over two years since we bought our stove. There are things about this stove that I do not like such as. When making a large kettle of tomato sauce the stove cannot handle the weight. Yes it will cook everything else but I have to always remember not to have very heavy pots Never thought when we bought that this would be an issue.

We love the completely flat surface of this cooktop. It makes it so easy to clean without the knobs getting in the way. It also looks really sleek and neat. Temperature control once you get the hang of it is easy and accurate. Having the additional 5th burner for keeping things warm is an additional bonus.
