I really like my new dishwasher. I would like to see a better user manual that does't require I register my appliance in the cloud.. Learning by error is not a great way to learn all the functions of this dishwasher.

Bosch 500 Series dishwasher Cleans very well and runs impressively quiet. Initial concern about no heated drying turned out not to be a big deal with the door-opening feature after the cycle. Love the third rack for silverware and the overall appearance. Would give the highest rating, but the bottom rack doesn't roll well, making loading less than ideal..

Although it is only a month and a few washes. The 500 Series Bosch Dishwasher gets my dishes clean with so little noise that I have to walk by to make sure the washer is still running. I see the red light saying it is working, but I still have to check because it is so quiet. Easy to unload, and the automatic door opening feature when the wash is done is great. I am over 90% certain that when I have to replace other appliances, it will be with a Bosch.

I'm very pleased with my new Bosch dishwasher. This is my second Bosch, the first lasted 17 years! This new one does a fantastic job cleaning and drying my dishes and pots, pans and utensils. Everything comes out sparkling clean and dry and love how quiet it is also. Bosch is a bit more pricey, but definitely worth it.

I initially purchased a 300 model which was an initial failure. It was replaced with a 500 model which also was an initial failure which was replaced with was replaced with another initial failure which was replaced withthis one which does a remarkable job of cleaning the dishes. I would like to have better racks for the cost of the product.

This is our 2nd Bosch dishwasher, the 1st one lasted 17 years! I would highly recommend this dishwasher, I have only used it for a few days, but everything comes out dry, clean and sparkling! I thought my 1st Bosch was great, this one is even better, I'm very happy I made this choice, cost a little more, but well worth it! Also I must mention how quiet it is, which is an added bonus!!

This dishwasher performs very well. It does the job as advertised and very quietly, I might add. However, there is a dent in the door that wasn't discovered until the allotted time for returning the unit had passed. This blemish doesn't affect the dishwasher's performance, but it's a disappointing blemish nonetheless.

I CAN TELL OVER THE YEARS, THE PRODUCTS ARE GETTING CHEAPER. THE DISH LAYOUT IN THE NEW MACHINES DON'T HOLD AS MUCH. DOOR HANDLES ARE NO MORE. GLASS CLEANER DISPENSER SMALLER. TRAYS ARE INDENTED IN THE FRONT, UTENSIL TRAYS ARE SMALL, AND NOW HOW CAN I CARRY ALL MY UTENSILS TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE KITCHEN. WATER CONNECTION SHOULD BE PUT BACK IN FRONT SO I CAN SPOT FOR LEAKS. SEALS AROUND DOORS ARE THIN AND FLIMSY, AND DON'T COVER COMPLETELY AND LET OUT NOISE. DOOR HAS TO BE EITHER LOCKED OR ADJAR SO IF YOU WALK INTO ROOM AT NIGHT YOU BANG INTO IT. THE CHEAPER 300 SERIES HAS BETTER CONTROLS THAN THIS 500. WE DON'T NEED WIFI IN CASE I WANT TO WASH MY DISHES WHEN I'M ON A TRIP. GET ME OR SOME HOUSEWIVES TO DESIGN THIS NEXT TIME, AND THESE ARE COMMENTS BEFORE THE FIRST LOAD.

I had a Bosch dishwasher for 7 years until it gave up the ghost. I loved it. The new one has a significant defect in that the touch controls are unreliable and diffucult. For the life of me I cannot get them to change as described in the manual or website and the degree of "touch" required varies day to day. I yearn for the mechanical buttons. Also, the drying is less complete than provided by my old machine. This is an expensive appliance ... I had expected better.

Well-made quality product that we can expect to get years of good use from, but the arrangement of the racks inside leaves something to be desired and its is true challenge to come even close to getting the same amount of dirty dishes into a load compared to our last dishwasher. The top layer has very limited uses and takes away far too much headroom from the middle rack to be considered an improvement. May look at removing it. Other racks also are a bit strange, specifically the directional orientation on the bottom rack.

We especially like the streamlined look, the top rack for silverware, and the overall roominess. The items come out clean and dry just like they should. It is nice these days to have a product that works correcly. Installation went smoothly and the whte finish is consistent with our other appliances. Consumer Reports led us to an enjoyable purchase.

I am Do It Yourselfer. So I installed my own 500 series dishwasher. We have loved our BOSCH clothes washer and dryer of 23 years. The installation wasn't the best in that I turned the screw to adjust the back leveling leg the wrong way and it popped out the plastic (plastic not metal) gear. It took a while and effort to get the gear back in place. Now the dishwasher is up and running I think it washes our dishes better than any dishwasher we have ever owned which are a lot over the last 66 years of life. Some brands are just better than others. BOSCH is the one for us. More expensive but worth it.

Cleans well. It cleans the silverware much better than my old one. It's very quiet. Per the stats, it's not the quietest and yet I was pleasantly surprised how quiet it is.
I love, love, love the auto open. I wake up and my dishes are clean and dry.
My tiny complaints are only that I wish you could see the time remaining without the app. It's the only reason to have the app. And I wish I could fold more of the tines.

I love my Bosch washer and dryer I have had for 26 years so, we purchased this Dishwasher. Just installed yesterday. We had a bit of a problem with the rear levely leg in that I turned it the wrong way to raise the back and the little plastic gear poped out of place. It took quite a while to see what happened and maneuvering the plastic gear back into place to get it to raise the rear leg again. I ran a test disherless load and the inside is still wet. Sometime this "Energy efficient" crap is not what it is the best. A YouTube video says there is no exposed heating element for "Energy efficient" reasons, and that it is better to put the dishes in dirty so the sensors can use the heat pump method to help dry. We will see over the next few weeks when we host Thanksgiving at our home.

Recently purchased this Bosch dishwasher after several family members have raved over their own. It has been well worth the purchase! We utilize it almost daily and I can run the dishwasher while we are awake/home and can hear the tv and the kids playing with no issues. Having the ability to adjust the 2nd rack is handy, but my favorite part is that plastic "top rack" items can be placed anywhere with no issues! The videos provided to share tips and how to's was incredibly helpful and overall an excellent customer experience.
I would highly recommend this dishwasher and am loving ours!

Sad to give up my 20-year-old Bosch when it stopped working recently. The new one is absolutely NO match! Just the releasing of the door latch was ominous--light weight and loosey-goosey. The design is a mystery that the paper info
that comes with it does not solve. I wish that people who put
tpgether info for customers would use simple organization of the print info in clear categories and in logical order. As one representative example of this, the usual (and simple!) "On/Off" button is not marked with those simple, traditional words! Silly to complain of this, since it is obvious by the physical placement on the top edge of the door that this is the "start" button, but the niceties of direct messaging continue to be ignored in the accompanying brochure. (example: why is the crucial "Button A" not more logically identified as the "change cycle" button on the machine edge? Instead we are told it is the "Speed60" cycle.). I have finally militated against the un-necessary elaborations of the new model and its Byzantine instruction brochure by using only the buttons that are basic, although it took a while to determine them! I wish I had my first Bosch back! It didn't rattle whenever the door moved, it was solid and quiet without all the silly
choices for what is still a very basic process--removing dirt from the surface with hot water and soap. (Did I mention that I also paid double for this new iteration?). Sorry to sound so sour, but you asked for my reaction and I would say, in general, get someone who knows how to organize a care manual in print form to re-edit that item and do not assume that we will all just start using our digital links or online sources to use your products! That is silly. Hands on is best; brain and language
can make your product perform with simple, logical instructions. (That accompanying brochure is really poorly laid out and written!--probably because you expect customers to simply link to the digital info, etc. It beats me--twenty years of change not all needed! ("Less is more.")

Our dishwasher has emitted a terrible odor since the day we bought it. Running an empty load with vinegar only does nothing to remove it. Awful! Otherwise, it does a good job cleaning dishes.

For us, this replaced a 12/year old Bosch dishwasher we left behind when we sold our house. I noticed right away that the new one's wire racks are not as thick as the old one. It. Is not the same, but being a Bosch is is quiet and does a good job cleaning. Change is hard!

We are happy with our new dishwasher. One concern was with the user instructions. They are very vague. Even the on line ones. There is no mention of the red light that comes on when the washer is operating. Red lights to me usually mean trouble.

I have heard nothing but good things about Bosch dishwashers from repair people working on other brands we have owned, so it was a shock to us when we got this installed that we can't load as many dishes into it and the racks are absolutely impossible to load dishes and bowls without them laying on each other. This causes clanking noises when washing so the noise level on this is worse than our previous one. Silverware is directed to the top shelf that my wife absolutely hates to use. If we could return this, we would do so without hesitation. It seems to wash ok, but the drying is far worse than other brands we have purchased. I'm giving it 2 stars because it is getting things clean, we just have to hand dry them before we put them away. I honestly don't know how others have rated this so well based on rack layout, noise level and drying ability.

Happy with the quietness. The light indicating when dishwasher is in use is a real plus. The 3rd rack for cooking utensils is a game changer for loading dishwasher. Have already noticed a drop in water bill.
