Stopped Making Ice after 3 days

I installed this unit recently and after 3 days it stopped making ice. I went to get ice and it had all melted. Couldn't be more disappointed after paying a premium for what I thought was a quality ice maker. Waiting on repair company right now.

We sold our house and it had a KitchenAid icemaker in it. When we moved to our new house we didn't have one, so we remodeled our kitchen a little bit and had a new one built-in. We absolutely love this ice machine!

The ice maker is very noisy. This is the second one we have had and this one make twice as much noise as the first one. Within three months of purchase the ice maker would turn itself off. Slam the door a few times and it would start again. Repairs pending.

I love the amount and quality of ice produced. Such a wonderful addition to the basement bar area. The ice nuggets are not extremely hard and melt well in drinks. The only issue I have noticed is the ice tends to "pop" out of the door if you open it too quickly.

Easy to install. Makes a good amount of ice. It does use more water than I expected. I did. It realize that there is a good amount of ice that will naturally melt from within the machine

We purchased this ice maker to supplement our bar during a recent kitchen remodel. Our fridge had a built in unit but it couldn't keep up during our warm summer months here in the southwest. I did opt to install the optional water filter to help keep some of the contaminants out of the ice for $50.00, which is a bi-annual process. I thought it was money well spent. Overall we`re very happy with this unit. It has survived several cocktail parties already with flying colors. I do use the "Maximum Ice" feature when were entertaining to increase production just to make sure we`re covered and we haven't emptied it yet. It does take a while to get used to the sounds the unit makes during high production, but after a while you don't notice it. It doesn't make anymore noise than my neighbors Scottsman that they paid a lot more for.
