The ice maker capacity is very low. There is much more room that they could have made the ice storage bin longer so it could hold more ice. It's a very bad design. The water dispenser on the pitcher is plastic and cheap which will be easily broken...why not make this part metal. Main complaint is the ice capacity being so small. Not good for a family of 5 with kids in sports and needing to fill lots of water bottles with ice and water. Wish we could return it.

The refrigerator looks awesome. When we got it the delivery people took most of the plastic sheath covering outside pieces. We still had to clean it up. Inside took us a long time to clean the tape out. I appreciate you trying to keep the unit safe, but we had trouble getting it cleaned.

The ice production is TERRIBLE! Only drops a tray of ice every 3-4 hours? My cheap beer fridge does 5 times the ice as this machine. Started making a noise like a knocking noise. Service came out & said it only happened once by their computer, just a fluke? What will happen when its full of groceries & stops?? Don't spend the extra money for this one.

I like the refrigerator and freezer configurations and am able to fit a lot of items in both and can see and find things easily. I really like the drawer that can be used as either extra refrigerator or freezer space as needed. I wish the interior were a little brighter though.

I™™ve been looking to upgrade our fridge for sometime, the we had inside our kitchen worked fine but I really wanted to upgrade it. So we looked at several and came upon the Cafe that we purchased. I really didn™™t want the water and ice on the door but inside and I™™m so glad we went with that. The ice bin is so convenient and the water pitcher inside the door works great. I love so much about this fridge so it™™s hard to get everything in. I love the glass front, so easy to clean, the back lit inside so you can see everything inside the fridge. Everything can be nicely organized within the drawers. The 3 separate drawers in the freezer are great as well. And I love the dark inside color with the rose gold trim. I just love everything so far, we only had it for a month or so. But I™™m sure I™™ll be happy with my decision for a long time.

I absolutely love the refrigerator I chose. It™™s a sharp contrast from my 4 years old GE refrigerator that just stopped cooling, stopped making ice and stopped freezing. The technician couldn™™t figure out what went wrong. This Cafe refrigeration is better built and easy to put the shelves in. I have a shelf included in my refrigerator that has no place in the appliance. I™™ll call customer service to ask what to do with it. The cooling is out of this world. The freezer is very roomy and cannot wait to load it up. The appliance registration process is the easiest I™™ve ever done.

Love this refrigerator. I wanted a clean front and ice in the freezer. Everything I read said that ice in the refrigerator led to breakdowns and problems. Also love the backlighting. And the filtered pitcher on water. When friends open it and see the backlighting, it always gets so "Oooooo" s! Also, at this point all our friends know that the drinks are in the middle drawer! It was so big, we were able to do an enormous Thanksgiving dinner for 12!

My first refrigerator had a problem with the in door auto fill pitcher and twice it did not turn off and flooded my kitchen floor. Thank goodness someone was home to catch it, but not before the refrigerator and my hardwood floors were filled with water. After 3 months of back and forth waiting for parts and working with an incompetent service company, GE replaced the entire refrigerator because they said they could not get the parts to fix it.

Installed just a week ago. Splurged on the Cafe line. Love the look (and fingerprint resistance) of the platinum glass finish and leek look of the recessed door handles. Had to make changes to adjacent cabinet to fit the 36" size in. my limited space but very glad I did. So far I am not experiencing any issues re: noise or water dripping from the water dispenser others have noted. Would recommend that the owner's manual be updated with more detailed directions for setting internal temperatures, particularly for the adjustable temperature drawer. Will also note that there are limited options for arranging the shelves within the refrigerated section so you cannot really optimize the space. A deli drawer (or add-on accessory) would be appreciated.

Slow ice maker if that™™s something you need often. Biggest concern is how flimsy the bottom freezer door is. Moves left to right very easy feels like thin plastic is holding it in. Great space inside and the middle drawer is a great feature. The glass looks amazing. We have all stainless in our kitchen and this is tad darker in color but cleans so much easier.

Follow up to initial 4 star review, down to 3 stars now. Had to call for service after having it for 2 weeks for the auto-fill pitcher that was overflowing and sounding the alarm every day. Technician updated software and ordered a new pitcher two weeks ago, just talked to parts department and it's back-ordered until the end of OCTOBER! The auto-fill has been turned off since the technician came but it still sounds the alarm almost daily, mostly in the middle of the night. Not at all happy with the quality control of Cafe appliances because this one was a service contract replacement for a previous model I had for 2 years and was a lemon. Appliances this expensive shouldn't have this many problems. Will never buy another one. Sure, it's a beautiful refrigerator but don't buy it unless you like having to call for service repeatedly.

It™™s a great refrigerator with a terrible water pitcher design. There™™s always water inside the door and under the pitcher.

Very spacious and beautiful! I was concerned about no water & ice in the door but it's been fine. No water spots and ice to pick up off the floor. Love the exterior finish of glass. Stainless without the chore of cleaning fingerprints constantly.

Had brand new Cafe Refrigerator delivered 7/31. Never worked when turned it on. On 8/1 called ge service. Best appointment date to repair is 8/7. So I have a new appl. That never worked and takes a week for someone to come and repair.

Water and ice dispensers already having issues. Dealing with GE service has been a nightmare. We officially moved in our new kitchen for 2 days before having issues. Ice works sporadically and water stopped working. Will be over 2 weeks for having anyone come out.

I have never seen a backlit refrigerator before. It's BEAUTIFUL. Built in water pitcher that fills and refills itself. No ice in the door but that makes the astetics of this refrigerator beautiful. The ice in the freezer drawer is easy to get to so its well worth it. There is a middle drawer for snacks, etc that keep them cool. Perfect for apples. So much room overall!

Very happy with this fridge, it is roomy and very well lit. Love that most of the shelves are moveable to adapt to different levels as needed. It runs super quiet and looks sleek. The ice function works great and is located in the freezer area. It was pricier than most fridges but was well worth the cost. Only wish we would have purchased it sooner.

Refrigerator is very attractive and innovative. only problem we have experienced is that freezer drawers take a concerted effort to close. Like the availability of an extended warranty which is reasonably priced
